Raymond R Smith, CEO / President

Raymond R. Smith is the President & CEO of EZ Network Systems, Inc. (EZNet), which he founded in 2002. With over two decades of expertise in IT infrastructure, network security, and system administration, Raymond has established EZNet as a trusted provider of comprehensive IT solutions for businesses in various industries. His leadership is backed by a strong technical background, with previous roles at 3Com Corporation, where he served as a Senior Network Architect, and InReach Internet, where he was IT Director.

Raymond is deeply committed to fostering innovation and delivering reliable, cutting-edge technology solutions to clients. Under his direction, EZNet has grown into a leading IT services firm known for exceptional customer service and tailored business solutions. A native of Stockton, CA. Raymond has been recognized for his leadership, including being named Small Business Person of the Year by the Stockton Chamber of Commerce in 2012.

Beyond his professional achievements, Raymond is passionate about scuba diving and enjoys traveling internationally. He is a proud father and grandfather, actively involved in his community and personal pursuits.

Katherine Vigil / Vice President

Katherine Vigil brings over two decades of experience in managed services to her role as Vice President and Chief Security Officer at EZ-NetSys. A passionate advocate for cybersecurity, she is dedicated to helping businesses navigate their security challenges and implement robust, tailored solutions.

As Vice Chair of the Finance Committee for the National Society of IT Service Providers (NSITSP), Katherine actively contributes to the industry through task forces and thought leadership.

She is also a proud member of ISACA and Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS). Katherine's deep expertise and commitment to her clients' success make her a trusted partner for small businesses looking to strengthen their security posture and achieve peace of mind.

Elzo Williams / Technical Account Manager

Elzo Williams Jr. background in IT and sales, spanning several decades. His career began in the 1990s at InReach Internet, where he sold dial up internet services and assisted business with domain name registrations and web hosting accounts. This early experience laid a strong foundation for his future endeavors in the telecommunications industry.

Elzo's expertise grew as he took on Account Manager roles at Electric Lightwave and Integra Telecom, where he was sold phone service, dedicated circuits and co-location. His strategic insights and dedication to excellence were further showcased during his tenure at Comcast, where he contributed to the company's growth and success. In addition to his telecommunications experience, he served as a Sales Manager at Nissan, where he led a dynamic sales team and achieved remarkable results. He also held the position of Operations Production Control Supervisor at Tesla, overseeing critical production processes and ensuring operational efficiency.

Beyond his professional achievements, he is passionate about sustainable living and agriculture, which led him to establish Harvester Farms. At Harvester Farms, he has been instrumental in preventing the waste of over 46,000 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables, which were donated to local food banks, Saint Mary's Dining Hall for the homeless, and community centers to support the food insecure and hungry.

Elzo has been happily married for over 25 years and is a proud father of four children and grandfather to two wonderful grandchildren. He enjoys gardening with his wife in their backyard food forest, playing guitar and walking to beaches and waterfalls on day trips

Eric Vigil, Senior IT Engineer

Eric Vigil is an experienced IT systems engineer and telecommunications professional with over 30 years of experience in the industry. Currently, he brings his extensive expertise to EZ Network Systems, where he helps clients optimize IT infrastructure and implement advanced communication solutions.

Eric's career includes 13 years as a Senior IT Engineer at Utility Telecom, where he was responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining critical IT systems. He also spent 17 years at Pac-West Telecom, where he focused on IT systems, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of enterprise-level systems for clients across various industries. His work involved overseeing system integrations, managing complex IT infrastructures, and implementing solutions that supported the company's operational and customer service needs.

Eric holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from California State University, Sacramento, which provided the foundation for his successful career in IT and telecommunications.

Outside of his professional life, Eric is a passionate Disney fan, having visited both Disneyland and Walt Disney World multiple times. He enjoys immersing himself in the magic of Disney, whether it's through the parks or Disney films. In addition, Eric is an avid moviegoer, always excited to catch the latest releases.

Known for his technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and dedication to client success, Eric is committed to providing innovative solutions that drive business growth and enhance communication systems.

Mark Wilkinson, Helpdesk Supervisor

With over 34 years of IT and Customer Service management experience, Mark has been involved in the world of ISPs, Information Technology, Managed Services and Network Management most of his working life. Highlights include:

• Documentation Design and Control for a major government contractor focused on satellite defense and guidance systems.
• A management role as part of the initial team at one of the first Internet Service Providers in Northern California.
• Director of Customer Service for a “Dot-Com startup” designing Managed Content Delivery devices for providers around the world.
• IT Manager for one of Northern California’s largest Office Supply Companies for over 20 years.

Mark currently brings his years of experience and talents to EZ Network Systems, providing friendly, quality first-level support to our clients every day. Odds are if you give us a call, Mark will be there, helping to assess any questions or challenges you might have and making sure that if he can’t resolve the issue directly, he’ll get you to one of our phenomenally talented Service Techs as quickly as possible.

On a personal note, Mark has been happily married for over 35 years with two fantastic kids, a granddaughter and one feisty little Yorkie named Tinkerbell. His love for his family is followed closely by his lifelong love of all things Disney. If he’s not at work, he’s probably with his wife & kids at a Disney park somewhere…or planning their next visit!
